Race Day 1: The First Day of the 3022km Race
The race started this morning at 8am. The World Solar Challenge – the toughest solar car race in the world. This race spans across the continent of Australia. We were excited about this day and now it’s finally here. We started into the race from position number 5, directly behind the defending champion Nun Solar Car, and we have already covered 493 km. Our driving strategy worked excellently, even if other teams have overtaken us. In the end, it was only those who finished the 3000 km first that made it through. On the way, we saw the many unfortunate teams by the roadside repairing their solar cars. More details and insights into our first day of the adventure can be found in our current blog and highlight video. Stay tuned for the next days of the race!
